n mid 2007 Victory started The Victory Police Series Motorcycles. 2011 Victory stopped production on the Enforcer and continued on with the Commander. From 2012-2017 The Victory Police Motorcycles were used by many differenet agenies across the country.
Mike Schultz who started the Victory Police Motorcycles found difficulties along the way. The Victory has a longer wheel base then the tested Harley-Davidson’s which meant that it can not turn as tight has the Harleys. Harley-Davidson’s can turn in a 18 feet circle. The Victorys can do the turn in 20 feet. 2 to 3 feet wider. Then the motorcycles were braking down and getting them parts was hard. Motorcycle could be down for 6 months to a year, for a department that depends on them this is a huge problem. Some departments broke their contracts because of the parts issue, like Daytona Beach, FL Police Department. A few other departments followed suit.
