The History of the Uppsala Police Department Motorcycle Unit
Uppsala Police Department has 3 BMW, 1 1100 cc and 2 1200 cc…I civil Yamaha 1300 FJR and 6 Honda 1300 Pan European, and 2 Honda Varadero 1000 cc…We also have 1 Suzuki 400 cc Off Road. The Honda Varadero 1000 cc. are the new city bikes. We use this bikes for city patrol because they are really easy to use in the streets and in the woods. In Uppsala we have two of these machines.
