The Town of Manlius Police Department is located in Onondaga County, Manlius NY.  We are comprised of 36 sworn police officers serving an area of about 54 sq miles. The department was formed in 1985 after the merger of three village departments.  In 2006 the department added a Harley Davidson Police Motorcycle to the fleet.  Four of our officers are certified Motor Officers.  Each of our Motor Officers have completed an 80 hour 'Basic Police Motorcycle Course' sponsored through North Western University.   During the spring, summer and fall months the Manlius Police Motor Unit is utilized for the following functions; Routine Patrol, Traffic Enforcement,  Special Escorts, Static Displays,  Parades and Officer's Funerals (year round).
